  • Benefits of Becoming an FCBA Member

FCBA members enjoy a wide range of benefits designed to support both professional growth and personal development. From networking opportunities and continuing legal education to mentoring, community involvement, publications, and professional visibility opportunities, FCBA membership provides valuable resources and connections throughout your legal career.

As an FCBA member, you can enjoy the following benefits:

  • Connect with colleagues through signature FCBA events such as our Annual Banquet & Installation of Officers, Law Day Luncheon, Annual Witkin Award Luncheon, Judicial Appreciation Reception, Oktoberfest (our family-friendly social event), and other co-affiliated  association events.
  • Get involved and lead by joining one of FCBA's committees or sections and helping share the future of the organization and legal community.
  • Earn MCLE credit through FCBA programs and monthly luncheons. FCBA is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider offering educational opportunities throughout the year to help members fulfill their MCLE requirements.
  • Participate in the Mentor Program through one-on-one mentoring opportunities, either as a mentor or mentee, and help strengthen the next generation.
  • Join the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association (FCYLA), a division of the FCBA serving attorneys with five years or less of practice experience or those who are 36 years of age or younger.

  • Enhance your practice and professional visibility through FCBA's certified Attorney Referral Service (ARS), which connects individuals seeking private legal counsel with attorneys serving Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, and Merced counties.  The ARS program is available at NO COST to FCBA members.
  • Promote your practice and services through discounted members rates for website placement, sponsorship opportunities, and other members visibility programs.
  • Stay informed with legal community news, upcoming events, and member updates through the monthly Bar Bulletin publication and E-blast calendar.

FCBA membership is more than belonging to an association, it is an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen your practice, give back to the legal community, and remain connected throughout the Central Valley.
